Babywearing Safety/Safely

http://babyslingsafety.co.uk/

is the site that shares the TICKS guidelines for safe wearing:                                                                                                                              (with some notes from us – in case you cant see image)

Tight against your body (means holding them snuggly against your body)
In view at all times          (you can see their mouth and nose, and check for breathing)                                               Close enough to kiss     (you can lean your head down to kiss the top of theirs)                                                         Keep Chinn off Chest    (baby’s chin in not against chest – preventing suffocation)                                       Supported Back             (does your back have the right spinal curve for their age)
